Regular practice of Iyengar yoga builds suppleness, flexibility, and strength. I teach the Iyengar method of yoga created by B.K.S. Iyengar the world's foremost yoga teacher. Iyengar Yoga offers precision and great attention to alignment. Asanas (poses) are taught in a specific order providing a safe practice so maximum benefits can be gained. Yoga is non-competitive and every student is encouraged to work within their own capabilities. Unlike other forms of yoga, Iyengar yoga is only taught by accredited teachers after years of rigorous training. As an Iyengar yoga teacher, I am fully insured and undergo regular professional development.
